Root and Rise Sourdough Co. began in our family kitchen, born out of a deep desire to heal and nourish from the inside out. When our family faced ongoing gut and digestive health challenges, we turned to sourdough as a natural solution—and it changed everything. Through the slow fermentation process and the powerful presence of lactobacillus bacteria, we discovered not only better digestion but also overall improved health and well-being. What began as a personal journey soon became a calling.

The name Root and Rise reflects our foundation—rooted in faith, rising in grace. It’s a reminder that even simple things, like bread, can hold deep meaning when made with purpose. As a hardworking mother-owned company, every loaf we bake is a reflection of our commitment to feeding our children and our community with intention. Each batch is handcrafted with love, using traditional methods, clean ingredients, and a great deal of care.
